This 57,400 sq.ft. proposed Morris Thompson Cultural and Visitor Center project in Fairbanks, Alaska, will bring key visitor and native organizations together into one facility, such as the Alaska Public Lands Information Center, the Fairbanks Convention and Visitors Bureau, and miscellaneous space relating to Tanana Chiefs Conference Native Corporation and Doyon Ltd. Native Corporation. This unique blend of public, private, non-profit, and corporate partnering will represent a wide spectrum of interests addressing Alaska's natural and cultural resources, as well as serve to enhance local and regional economic development.

Key spaces in this new facility are visitor information services, including orientation, trip planning and café; interpretive exhibits, which will include a rotating exhibit gallery; Tanana Chiefs Cultural Center, including artisan workshops, library and classrooms; gathering hall theatre and multipurpose space; administration and public services space.
