The Haines School Addition and Remodel includes the consolidation of all grades into one building. Currently the High School, Elementary/Middle School and Primary are in different buildings. An existing condition survey had been completed on the 3 separate facilities and it was found that the later two buildings are in disrepair and should be demolished, while the High School building could be remodeled and added on to reasonably.
The 40,000 sq.ft. new addition to the high school building will include 9 classrooms for all lower grades as well as a new 5,000 sq.ft. gymnasium/multipurpose room with stage, a Welcome Center (Administration Suite) and central Cafeteria/Kitchen.
